Sri Sakthi Peetam
Sri Sakthi Peetam stands on the serene banks of Rayalacheruvu — the largest historical lake of Andhra Pradesh, dug by Emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya — about 14 kilometres from the main Tirupati town. Set in a green expanse of two acres at the foothills of Tirumala, the Peetam offers a breathtaking view of the valleys, surrounded by lush fields and the quiet presence of Seshachalam’s hills.
Ancient tradition holds that Siddhas from the Siddha hills bathe in this very lake before ascending to Tirumala to serve Lord Venkateswara at dawn and dusk. Their long-held desire for a sacred place closer to the lake gradually took the form of this temple — through divine will, a Guru’s vision, and a disciple’s unflinching devotion.
The positive energy here is palpable to every visitor. The Peetam is not merely a temple — it is a living center of Sakthi worship, dharmic activity, and women’s spiritual empowerment, in the lineage of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya.

A Temple of Firsts
For the first time in India, the most powerful idol of Sri Marakatha Sakthi Kaali Devi — together with Sri Marakatha Siddheswara — was installed here. Alongside them, three more idols of kinds never before installed anywhere in India: Sri Pātāla Swetha Vārāhi (white-hued), Sri Pātāla Ādharvaṇa Pratyangirā Bhadrakāli (blood-hued), and Sri Swarna Kubera (golden-hued).
The full assembly of deities — including the Dasa Mahāvidyās, Lord Kālabhairava, Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, Sri Sakthi Gaṇapati, Sri Saktīdhara Subrahmaṇya Swāmi, Sri Shiridi Sai Baba, Sri Mutyalamma, the Sri Chakra Mahāmeru, and Jagadguru Sri Ādi Śaṅkarāchārya — fills this two-acre kshetram with an energy that devotees describe as immediate and transformative.

Ours is the only tradition in which the supreme energy — Sakthi — is worshipped in feminine form. And ours is the only tradition in which every feminine form is worshipped as Sakthi.
The principle of Naaree eva Naaraayanee — woman herself is the Goddess — is not a slogan. It is the foundational truth on which this Peetam stands, lives, and conducts every one of its rituals. When a woman is honoured here, the Goddess is honoured. When thousands of women gather in this tradition, a world record is set.

Sri Sri Sri Siddheswarananda Bharathi Mahaswami
Mahimānvitha Yogi — The Mystic Seer of Courtallam
His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Siddheswarananda Bharathi Mahaswami is the present Chief Pontiff of the ancient Ādishaṅkarāchārya traditional peetam — Sri Siddheswari Peetam (Mouna Swami Mutt) — in Courtallam, Tamil Nadu, the land of medicinal waterfalls. He is one of the eldest Shankaracharyas alive and among the foremost propagators of Sanātana Bharatīya Hindu Dharma in the modern world.
Born on January 23rd, 1937, as Venkata Lakshmi Vara Prasad Rao in Elchur village, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, he was a celebrated literary figure before his spiritual awakening — serving as Head of the Telugu Department and Principal of Hindu College, Guntur, and earning titles including Avadhāna Sarasvatī, Kāvitha Sudhākara, and Sahithi Sarvabhūma.
Through rigorous sādhana — yoga, prāṇāyāma, mantra japa, and penance — he attained direct darśan of numerous deities and was initiated by masters of the Siddhasrama tradition. On September 8th, 2002, he received Sannyāsa Dīkshā and took the name Siddheswarananda Bharathi Swami, ascending the Courtallam Peetham on Datta Jayantī, December 19th, 2002.
His Holiness has since initiated millions into mantra dīkshā, conducted Hindu Dharma Rakshana Yāgas across India and overseas, and inspired spiritual centers on multiple continents. His ardent followers — from ordinary devotees to Heads of State — revere him as the Walking God.

Sri Sri Sri Ramyananda Bharathi Swamini
Peethadhiswari of Sri Sakthi Peetam
Sri Ramyananda Bharathi Swamini — Sri Mathaji, as she is known to her devotees — is the Peethadhiswari of Sri Sakthi Peetam and the guiding force behind all its activities. Born on January 6th, 1987, she was a qualified medical doctor in her pūrvāśram before receiving the divine calling that set her on the path of renunciation.
She was initiated into Yoginī Dīkshā of the Courtallam Peeta tradition in 2012 on Sravaṇa Paurṇimā at Siddha Kshetra, Courtallam. In 2017, on Rādhāṣṭamī in the sacred city of Vārāṇasī, she received the full Śaṅkara traditional seerhood from Sri Swamiji himself. Among all of Sri Swamiji’s disciples, she alone was conferred the title Mantra Maheshwari — Sovereign of Mantra Science.
Under Sri Mathaji’s leadership, Sri Sakthi Peetam has grown into a magnificent and glorious center of Sakthi worship. She conducts dharmic rituals on national and international platforms, runs the spiritual journal Sri Sakthi Jyothi, and has authored works on the nature of Goddess Kāli and the science of mantra. Thousands of devotees — across religions, backgrounds, and nationalities — have experienced her miracles and received her blessings.
Her life is an embodiment of the Peetam’s founding principle: Naaree eva Naaraayanee. The woman who once cured bodies as a physician now heals souls as a spiritual mother.
Daśa Sahasra Suvāsinī Pūjā
The Suvāsinī Pūjā — the worship of married women as living forms of the Goddess — was Sri Mathaji’s inspired contribution to Hindu spiritual practice. First performed in Vijayawada on March 8th, 2019 with 8,000 women on a single platform, this ritual spread rapidly across Andhra Pradesh, India, and beyond.
Recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records
In Tirupati, 2026, Sri Mathaji conducted the Daśa Sahasra Suvāsinī Pūjā with over ten thousand women gathered on a single platform — the only Peethadhiswari in history to achieve this. The event was recognised by both the Guinness Book of World Records and the World Records Union.
Through her mission Naari Namostute, over 50,000 women across India and abroad have been honoured as living forms of the Goddess. Each one a reminder that divinity does not live only in temples.
Sri Sakthi Sena
Sri Sakthi Sena is the women’s wing of Sri Sakthi Peetam, established by Sri Mathaji to carry the mission of Naaree eva Naaraayanee into everyday life. Through spiritual training, dharmic activity, and community service — particularly in rural and tribal communities — Sri Sakthi Sena works to restore women’s dignity, equality, and spiritual standing in society.
Building an Army of Sakthi
Sri Sakthi Sena conducts workshops, meditation camps, spiritual discourses, and Suvāsinī Pūjas for women from all walks of life. The Sena has grown across India, with chapters in multiple states and an active international presence.
Women trained by Sri Sakthi Sena go on to conduct Suvāsinī Pūjas in their own communities, spreading the vibration of Sakthi far beyond the walls of the Peetam. Each woman becomes a temple.
